Minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures

In addition to open-heart surgery, we offer the latest minimally invasive, and transcatheter procedures to treat a variety of cardiovascular ailments. Here are a few examples of our advanced treatments.

Heart valve repair or replacement

  • Mitral valve repair: a procedure that either strengthens the weakened mitral valve with supportive material or reshapes the valve
  • TAVR: a minimally invasive cardiac procedure for patients with aortic valve stenosis who are not eligible for open-heart surgery

 

Arrhythmia procedures

  • Pacemaker implantation: a procedure to implant advanced pacing technology to restore the heart's normal rhythm
  • Cardiac ablation: a transcatheter procedure that scars the tissue responsible for arrhythmias

  • Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG): a heart bypass procedure used to bolster blood flow, usually used to overcome blocked arteries
