2017 Fall Coffee Recap

We celebrated our annual Fall Coffee at the beautiful home of Lindsay Cohn Holstead this year. Dr. Stacey Carter joined us to speak about advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, reminding us that Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center is one of only two designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in Houston.

Friends of Nursing fellowship recipient and nurse Mia Herron shared her story of second starts and expressed her passion for nursing and her deep gratitude for this group's support. Our Friends of Nursing Chair, Kristina Sommerville, said it best, "No one can take away your education."
