About Me: Sarah received her Bachelor’s and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. She is completing her PGY2 in cardiology, and her professional goal is to work as a cardiology clinical specialist at an academic medical center. In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
Why Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center: Sarah was excited to serve the diverse and complex patient population at BSLMC and work with healthcare teams that are highly committed to providing compassionate patient care. BSLMC is home to the Texas Heart Institute and the unique learning opportunities in cardiology support her professional interests. The preceptors also create a highly conducive learning environment, where pharmacy residents are encouraged to expand their critical thinking, develop life-long learning skills, and achieve their career goals.
