David-Vu, PharmD
About Me: David received his Doctor of Pharmacy at University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy and completed his PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. He hopes to obtain a position as a transplant clinical specialist at an academic medical center upon completion of his postgraduate training. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, bouldering, and spending time with his family and friends.
Why Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center: David wanted to continue his training at BSLMC due to the transplant experiences he had during his PGY-1 year. Having the opportunity to learn from excellent preceptors in a nationally recognized high-volume transplant center that transplants four different organs will provide him with the robust training needed to pursue his career goals. He also enjoys being involved in all phases of the patient's transplant process and assisting their recovery after receiving a transplant.
