The Brazosport area is located 50 miles south of America's #1 City, Houston, TX, and lies at the mouth of Brazos and San Bernard River. It is composed of numerous cities including Brazoria, Clute, Freeport, Jones Creek, Richwood, Oyster Creek, Quintana, Surfside Beach, and Lake Jackson. The Brazosport Community is enriched with historic sites, miles of pristine sandy beaches, and offers some of the finest fishing available on the Upper Texas Coast. 

Living in the Brazosport area entitles you to 23 miles of unspoiled shorelines, 9 county parks, 19 boat ramps, and 2 RV campgrounds. Not only is the area a good place to call home, but often serves as a relaxing vacation spot. From children to retirees, one can enjoy building sandcastles, bird watching, inshore and offshore fishing, and relaxing in a beautiful two-story beach house fronting the Gulf of Mexico.

On top of that, you have easy access to Galveston, a 32-mile beach of pure entertainment. The island is full of sights and attractions, arts and festivals, great shopping and five-star restaurants.  In addition, Galveston is home of the historic Pleasure Pier and Schlitterbahn, a 15-acre thrilling water park that features a climate-controlled facility for the winter months.

With approximately 27,000 citizens, Lake Jackson is the home of St. Luke's Health Brazosport, which is one of the largest employers of the area. The City of Enchantment is a planned community offering minimal traffic, low crime rates, lower cost of living, and top-rated school systems. Plus, Brazosport College, named among the top 10 percent of the nation's community colleges by Aspen Institute, is located 10 minutes from downtown and provides top-notch education classes for the adult learner.
