Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists help people improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments including decision-making, abstract-reasoning, and problem-solving.  They assist in a variety of daily living skills including dressing, cooking, and eating.  Occupational therapists also improve movement and function by using exercise and physical agents to improve range of movement, improve strength and reduce pain.  Occupational therapy helps individuals achieve independence and focus on developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living and working skills.
