St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Welcomes New General Surgeon

St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Livingston welcomes board certified General Surgeon Camille Blackledge, M.D. to the medical staff in Polk County and the Memorial Clinics team.

Dr. Blackledge's interests are general surgery, including gallbladder disease and hernias, and advanced minimally invasive procedures, such as anti-reflux procedures, paraesophageal hernia repair, heller myotomy, revision foregut surgery, gastric bypass, and sleeve gastrectomy. 

She advocates a minimally invasive approach to surgical disease because of the benefits of decreasing postoperative pain and recovery time for patients.

Dr. Blackledge completed a minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2015. She also completed her residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville and her internship at University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dr. Blackledge graduated with her doctorate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Chemistry from Saint Louis University in Missouri.

Dr. Blackledge is now seeing patients at the Medical Arts Pavilion located at 601 Ogletree Drive, Suite D in Livingston. Patients can schedule an appointment by calling 936-328-8195. Her office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to noon. Her office accepts most major insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
