Lufkin Welcomes New OB/GYN Physician
Memorial Medical Center—Lufkin welcomes the area’s newest obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Carolyn Moyers.
A native Texan, Dr. Moyers earned an undergraduate degree at Texas Women’s University. She then received a Master of Science in Clinical Research and Education and her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her post graduate medical training in obstetrics and gynecology was later completed at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
“It has been more than 10 years since we welcomed a new obstetrical and gynecological physician to Lufkin,” said Bryant Krenek, President & CEO of Memorial Health System of East Texas. “There is a growing need in our market for these specialized physicians. Dr. Moyers will be a tremendous asset to our medical staff and to the patients she serves.”
