Medical Laboratory Professionals Recognized at Livingston

As a critical part of the healthcare delivery team, medical laboratory professionals provide timely and accurate tests results to aid in medical diagnoses and treatment decisions.  St. Luke’s Health Memorial Livingston recently recognized members of its laboratory team during National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week including (l to r) Robert Silveri, Medical Technologist; Felipe Jun Segundo, Lead Medical Technologist; Evelyn Newman, Phlebotomist; Kim Watson, Med Lab Tech; Edna Almirol, System Director of Laboratory Services; and Rosalina Raul, Medical Technologist. Laboratory professionals perform tests on body fluids, interpret the results and help provide a complete picture of a patient’s health. Memorial operates a lab within the hospital as well as St. Luke’s Health Express Lab.  Express Lab provides lab testing for all tests without physician orders in an outpatient setting.  The Express Lab is located at 601 Ogletree Drive, Suite C and is open Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call 936-329-8330 for more information.
