Memorial Announces New Board Chairman

Memorial Health System of East Texas recently welcomed Jack Sweeny (center) as Chairman of the Board of Directors.  Also, Gibson Friesen (right) of Friesen Strain Insurance Associates, Inc., was named First Vice Chairman of the Board and John (Jay) Glick (left), President and CEO of Lufkin Industries, Inc.,was named Second Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Board.  The appointments of all three positions are for 2 years, 2011 and 2012.  The Board of Directors for Memorial Health System of East Texas are volunteers who manage the business, property and affairs of the organization.  Complete authority, policy making and management of the System is vested in the Board of Directors.
