Memorial Medical Center-Livingston Welcomes New Urologist
Memorial Medical Center-Livingston welcomes one of the nation’s leading robotic surgeons to its medical staff. Cooper Buschemeyer, M.D., is a Board Certified Urologic Surgeon who has performed hundreds of robotic surgical procedures.
Dr. Buschemeyer comes to Memorial from Louisville, KY where he practiced for the last two years. He completed his residency and fellowship in Urologic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. Before leaving the world renowned medical center, Dr. Buschemeyer served as the Chief Resident in Urologic Surgery. Prior to Duke, he studied Cancer Biology at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky and his medical degree from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
In addition to traditional urological procedures and treatments, Dr. Buschemeyer specializes in advanced robotic procedures including prostatectomy, cystectomy, reconstructive bladder surgery, partial nephrectomy, as well as ureter and kidney reconstruction and repair. He also has a special interest in Urologic Oncology.
