Memorial Medical Center - Lufkin Recognizes Area Nursing Homes
Area long term care centers are being recognized by Memorial Medical Center – Lufkin for their efforts to partner with the hospital to enhance the overall care for its patients. Among those facilities recognized were Trinity Mission Rehabilitation and Nursing, Stoneleigh Estates, and Parkwood Place Healthcare and Assisted Living Center. Each quarter Memorial hosts a luncheon to address a plan of action to improve communication between the facilities in an effort to promote quality patient care.
Parkwood Place Healthcare and Assisted Living Center was recently recognized by Memorial Medical Center—Lufkin for outstanding initiatives to improve patient care. Accepting the award are ( l to r) Kirsten Redd, Cindy Oates and Karen Bayless.
