Memorial Welcomes New Clinical Psychiatrist
Millions of Americans suffer with various types of mental illness and mental health problems, such as social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, and personality disorders. To help those in our community cope with such issues, Memorial is expanding its medical staff and welcoming Psychiatrist Rebekah Koch, M.D.
A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine, Dr. Koch is a Texas native who joins her husband, Family Practitioner, Joseph Koch, M.D. in the Tall Pines Family Clinic at 1105 West Frank Street in Lufkin—suite 280. The Tall Pines Family Clinic is located on the second floor of Memorial’s Medical Arts Pavilion.
I appreciate the warm welcome to Lufkin and feel honored to join the medical community,” said Dr. Koch. “I look forward to helping serve the mental health needs of East Texas.
Recently, Dr. Koch finished her residency in Psychiatry at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas where she was selected as the Chief Resident. Before earning her medical degree, Dr. Koch completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University in New Jersey.
Drs. Joseph and Rebekah Koch and their daughter reside in Lufkin.
