Memorial Welcomes New Nephrologist
Memorial Medical Center-Livingston welcomes Nephrologist Medha Airy, M.D. to the medical staff. Dr. Airy specializes in treating inpatient and outpatient nephrology patients.
Dr. Airy comes to Livingston after completing her fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Prior to that, she completed her residency at the University of Connecticut, and she attended Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India.
Her interests in the medical field include acute kidney injuries, critical care nephrology, peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis patients, kidney stones, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, cystic disease of the kidney, and electrolyte disorders. She also evaluates patients for potential kidney transplants and takes care of patients after a transplant.
She joins Dr. Imran Nazeer, Dr. Prashant Kumar and Dr. M. Amjad Mir at East Texas Nephrology Associates.
“Dr. Airy joins a great team of experts who take care of patients experiencing kidney issues in our area,” Memorial Medical Center-Livingston Interim Administrator Earl Denning said. “Nephrology is a specialized field, and we are thrilled to have Dr. Airy here in Livingston.”
Dr. Airy is now seeing patients at her office in the Memorial Medical Arts Pavilion located at 403 Ogletree Drive, Suite 110 in Livingston. Patients can schedule an appointment by calling 936-225-5930. She is in Livingston on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and office hours vary. She will also see patients in Lufkin and Jasper.
Her office accepts most major insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
