Speech Therapy Services Returning to Memorial’s Wilson McKewen Rehabilitation Outpatient Center

Assessing, diagnosing, treating and helping to prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing and fluency is all part of being a speech-language pathologist or speech therapist.  Although Speech Therapy has been offered as an inpatient rehabilitation service, Memorial Health System of East Texas is proud to announce the return of Speech Therapy Services at Wilson McKewen Outpatient Rehabilitation Center. 

The Speech Therapy Services will be provided by, from left, Christina Pedroni, MS, CCC/SLP; Rachel Foster, MS, CCC/SLP; Pam West, MS, CCC/SLP and Veronica Bailey, MS, CCC/SLP.  The speech and language services at Memorial focus on helping people communicate effectively, feeding, and swallowing techniques, and applying adaptive techniques to aid in more independent and safer lifestyle.  The speech therapists develop individualized plans of care, tailored to each patient’s needs.  Wilson McKewen is taking new patients for speech services and is ready to assist any previous clients as needed.  For more information regarding referrals or services call 936.634.2266  Appointments are available for speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
