Robert Trautman has been appointed as the President of St. Luke's Health - Brazosport Hospital by St. Luke's Health

HOUSTON, TX (August 2, 2021) – St. Luke’s Health announced today that  Robert “Bob” Trautman has been named President of St. Luke’s Health-Brazosport Hospital, effective August 9, 2021. In this role, Trautman will oversee hospital operations, provide leadership and oversight, and serve as a representative of St. Luke’s Health, carrying out the St. Luke’s Health mission in Brazosport and the surrounding areas.

Trautman brings over two decades of executive-level hospital experience to St. Luke’s Health. His career is punctuated by significant achievements at several hospitals and health systems. He successfully led multiple significant initiatives during his leadership at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN; Anaheim Regional medical Center in Anaheim, CA; City Hospital White Rock in Dallas, TX; Saline health System in Benton, AR; Regency Hospital of Southern Mississippi; UHS/Palmdale Regional Medical Center/Lancaster Community Hospital; and Kindred Hospital in Ontario, CA. Many of these initiatives resulted in increased revenue; improved physician, employee and patient relations and satisfaction scores; multiple designations and recognitions from local and national professional organizations; and improved quality metrics.

Trautman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Science degree in Hospital Administration from California State University.
