St. Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital Receives Level III NICU Designation

St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital is proud to announce its redesignation as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) by the Texas Department of State Health Services. This prestigious designation recognizes the hospital's commitment to providing advanced and comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns.

The Level III NICU offers a higher level of care than Level I and II NICUs, equipped to handle a wider range of complex medical conditions. This includes advanced respiratory support, comprehensive monitoring, a neonatal transport team and a highly trained, specialized staff dedicated to the care of newborns.

"This redesignation is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our entire NICU team," said Jim Parisi, President of St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital. "We are committed to providing the highest quality care for our tiniest patients and their families. This Level III designation allows us to offer even more advanced treatments and support to newborns in need."

"We understand that having a baby in the NICU can be a stressful and emotional experience," said Judy Brown, RN, Director of Women’s Services at St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital. "Our goal is to provide not only the best medical care but also the emotional support and education that families need during this challenging time."

This Level III NICU redesignation for St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands reinforces its position as a leading provider of neonatal care in Montgomery County
