St. Luke’s Health Sleep Centers are dedicated to diagnosing and treating any sleep disorders you may have to restore your quality of sleep. If you deal with excessive daytime sleepiness, snoring, sleep apnea, or another condition could be the underlying cause. Doctors use an assessment called the Epworth score to measure a patient’s level of daytime sleepiness. Generally, a score of 10 or more may indicate a higher than normal level of daytime sleepiness and should be discussed with your physician. He or she may recommend a sleep study to determine if you have a sleep disorder.
